Cookie policy
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies this website uses and how you can control them. It should be read together with our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so that it can recognise your browser on later requests. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, store small amounts of information in the same way without sending it to the server on every request.
2. The cookies we use
This site uses only strictly necessary cookies and storage. They are needed to provide the service you asked for, so they do not require your consent under the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR. We do not use advertising, social media, or any third-party tracking cookies. Page views are counted with a cookie-free pixel that stores nothing on your device; see the privacy policy.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
coaudio_access | Cookie, first party, strictly necessary | Remembers that you entered the preview password while the site is in private preview. It contains a signed token, not the password itself, and cannot be read by scripts. It is not set once the site is public. | 30 days |
coaudio_notice | Local storage, first party, strictly necessary | Remembers that you dismissed the privacy and cookie notice so it is not shown on every page. | 12 months, then the notice is shown again |
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a cookie named __cf_bm or similar for a short period to detect and block automated traffic. This is a security cookie, it is strictly necessary, and it does not track you across sites.
3. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, remove them one by one or all at once, and block cookies from particular sites. Instructions for common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies and Site data.
- Safari: Preferences, Privacy, Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings, Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
If you block the coaudio_access cookie while the site is in private preview, you will be asked for the password on every page. Blocking local storage means the privacy notice will appear on every visit.
4. Changes to this policy
If we start using additional cookies, for example for analytics, we will update this table first and ask for your consent before setting any that are not strictly necessary.
